• Positive: Location, and the help received from David the night concierge manager. I had trouble sleeping my first night because of all the noise drifting up from the street, and at 4am I went down to ask for a room transfer which David was very accommodating in providing. He was excellent and friendly, very professional service. Thank you David!
• Negative: Some of the service in the dining area, on the first floor, left much to be desired. I realize I am a young male traveller, but I don't see why this should affect the level of service I receive. I'm a guest the same as any other, and was unfailingly polite to staff. This was rather disappointing.

• Common facilities and services: 5 I don't want to pick on wait and service staff, but yes this is an area that could and should be improved. I realize being a foreigner there needs to be adjustment on my part too, but some of the service was outright rude (being ignored while inquiring about breakfast, asking about directions and the area around the hotel..). You guys can do a better job, I know you can -- I saw it with the efforts of your night staff and cleaning services, who were unfailingly polite and genuinely friendly.
• Staff: 5 I would have given a better rating, but honestly I found some of the service staff in the dining area on the first floor to be somewhat impolite. This would have been a 'bad' rating, had it not been for the night concierge manager's help (David).
• Quietness: 7.5 The first room I booked, a junior suite on the 5th floor (room 510), was quite noisy at night with all the late night revelry drifting up from the street. After changing to room 415, things were much better. That being said, sound insulation between rooms could be better but otherwise it was fine.
