• Cleanliness: 10 Surprisingly clean (Never been to Spain before so perhaps a bit skeptical about the cleanliness before leaving.)
• Location: 7.5 We partook a large conference at the Caixa Forum and the rest of the participants stayed at hotels closer to the Caixa and Sol. The entire conference with its dinners and social events was localized close to these hotels, so we had a little further to go than the rest but no further that it didn%27t cause any problems. On an other occasion, the hotel%27s location is perfect! Close to Park Retiro, the Atocha Railway station and the major museums, and it%27s more quiet than at hotels near Sol and further to the north, along Gran Via for example.

• Staff: 10 Very polite and helpful! Though they struggled a bit to help us find the match day of Real Madrid;)
• Quietness: 10 Far less noise than expected in a city of Madrid%27s size, no problems during night. Seems like a tranquil and quiet part of town.
• Room: 7.5 Nice bathroom. Minus for the lack/shortcoming of single bed rooms.
• Value for money: 7.5 Not the cheapest around, but compared to other 4-star hotels in Madrid it%27s a bargain! Breakfast was far too expensive though. We ate our breakfast on a café near the Caixa every day and was well pleased with this.
