• Cleanliness: 7.5 No complaints really, It%27s just rather rustic.
• Location: 10 Was suprised at how large Cuenca is and was dismayed to see a McDonald%27s as we entered the city. However, after winding up and up into the old town, we were glad we made the trip. It%27s a beautiful little hilltop village and the hotel is right in the heart of it.
• Common facilities and services: 10 The restaurant was excellent. Authentic, delicious, cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices.
• Staff: 10 Quite friendly. Don%27t speak much english, but it doesn%27t matter- everyone got along with no problems.
• Quietness: 7.5 The stairwells and main areas can be a bit loud, but out room was next one and we couldn%27t hear anything through the very solid door.
• Room: 7.5 Rustic, quaint. Original doors with large brass keys. Our double bed was one of the most comfortable we had in Spain. The radiators keeps the rooms toasty. We had a gorgeous view and little sitting area overlooking the bridge. Not a lot of extras, but fun. original experience!
• Value for money: 10 Good value. Double room with full bath and a view for 70-some euros. Others in our group shared a triple with a washbasin for only 40-some euros. They had access to two shared full bathrooms. Their room was OK. On a major downhill slant and the bed comfort varied from hard to soft.
