• Location: 10 Within easy reach of many big attractions, and very well connected by the Metro. The surrounding area was lovely, too.

• Quietness: 2.5 Not very well soundproofed, so could hear everything going on in all of the rooms around us. But really not that big of a deal for me, since I sleep like the dead!
• Room: 5 Great size and well equipped, but could be modernised a little.

• Room: 5 Our room was in the old wing, that has no lift but it quiet, warm and comfortable. Small bathroom.

• Quietness: 5 opposite a synagogue which can be a little noisy at times
• Room: 7.5 for a single room they are large by Parisien standards. CNN wasn't available - and I missed hearing an English tv programme but adored the French tv quiz shows
• Value for money: 7.5 as always I find the hotel to be good value for money

• Location: 7.5 Metro stop Cadet nearby which takes you to the Louvre.
• Common facilities and services: 5 Wifi and internet supposed to be available but not working. Nice garden but unable to sit in it due to falling masonry from neighbouring building.

• Quietness: 7.5 Location quiet, rooms well sound-proofed but very noisy water system.
• Room: 2.5 We moved rooms and the second was better. First room was very shabby - no carpet, broken mirror tiles and damp stains. Second room was better.
• Value for money: 5 I think we could have had a better standard for same rate.
