• Cleanliness: 2.5 There was ample hot water and the shower worked. The sheets were clean and the towels were changed daily They need to buy new pillows. The bedspread could be cleaner, the carpet needs deep cleaning and the paint surfaces and light switches are smeared. The bathroom tiles need deep cleaning and re-grouting
• Location: 7.5 4 minutes to Bd St Germaine one minute to the Seine
• Common facilities and services: Not rated Terrestrial Tv had 5 local channels only, remote did not work
• Staff: 5 This was essentially just somewhere to sleep and nothing was asked of the staff who were friendly
• Quietness: Not rated On the first night we nearly left for the airport. Rue Saintes Peres is a one way street climbing from the river with moderate to heavy traffic all night. There is no air conditioning and it is necessary to have the windows open. Tourists on a different time zone were in the room next door and we heard every word of their animated conversation until 4 am.
• Room: Not rated The room was barely half a metre wider than the cut down double bed. The tv stand actually reaches under the bed. The floor is uneven causing you to lose your balance. The door lock was flimsy and had obviously been kicked in several times and was difficult to shut. I was unable to use wedges as the slope of the floor meant the gap under the door was too big.
• Value for money: Not rated On the left bank hotels and restaurants charge what they want. In future we will stay further out and use the Metro more. I would not reccommend this hotel but if you have to stay there get a bigger room.

• Positive: Location. Despite being on quite a noisy, busy side road - this hotel is located 200m from the river, and right across from the Louvre. It is also in an interesting area with lots of antique shops, cafes and near a metro station. The Staff were all so friendly and the room was very clean.
• Negative: The room. In need of some updating, quite shabby, the bathroom door didn't close properly and there was no hook for the shower head, the TV was poor although it was not something we used! We had an interesting shaped room, like a U, there was just enough space for the double bed which had one side against the wall. Despite the room and condition being very simple I would recommend staying here because of the location but perhaps asking for a bigger room! (after taking a peek through some open doors I feel we had a poor deal!)

• Cleanliness: 10 Despite needing a lick of paint and new furniture, all was very clean.
• Location: 10 Very good location, near a metro station, Velib, River and the Louvre!
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 Breakfast seemed over priced and just a hotel lobby to sit in.
• Staff: 10 very friendly, 24 hour service at reception.
• Quietness: Not rated Walls very thin and on a busy road - not too bad if you close the windows.
• Room: 2.5 Shabby, bathroom door didn't close and no shower hook.
• Value for money: 5 We felt the quality of the room let the hotel down.
