• Location: 10 Central location and steps from a metro station make for a great combo.

• Quietness: 10 The rooms that face the inner courtyard are quiet. The ones that face the street might not be so quiet, but I am not sure.
• Room: 7.5 Rooms are small and very basic, but there is a small TV. Bathroom is of good size. However, for being a one-star hotel and for the price one should not expect more.
• Value for money: 10 Without having experienced other hotels in Madrid, but with some web research, I feel that this hotel provides very good value for money. I would stay there again anytime.

• Positive: I was very impressed with the cafeteria and bar. It is always nice to have a place in the hotel to go to for breakfast or a night cap! I was also pleased that our room had a nice bathroom! The hotel in general is very clean and well kept which shows a sense of pride. Well done.
• Negative: There was a sound in our room all night that got a little annoying ... perhaps the sound of the water pipes or the metro or.. ????? We weren%27t sure what it was but we heard it about every 10 or 15 mins.

• Room: 5 The rooms were roomier than others we had stayed in while traveling through Spain. They were also very clean, and the bathrooms were very nice and clean as well. The room itself just lacked style. It was very basic, which was not a problem for me!

• Location: 10 Right in the heart of Madrid. Walking distance to almost anything you%27ll want to see.

• Staff: 7.5 Pretty friendly and most speak English well.
• Quietness: 5 It%27s on the main plaza in Madrid. The higher the floor you%27re on, the more quiet it will be. Some noise is the price you pay for the ideal location of the hotel.
• Room: 5 Rooms are very modest. Bathrooms were nice. Overall very clean.
• Value for money: 10 80 euros a night (I think) seemed like a pretty good deal since it was an ideal location and very clean. Not a fancy hotel, but we were only in our hotel room to sleep.

• Location: 10 Being situated in the heart of Madrid gave us the abitlity to see a lot of the city with great ease.
• Common facilities and services: 10 Cafeteria Europa next door has an excellent breakfast...I highly suggest you have the Spanish tortilla and the coffee black.
• Staff: 10 Almost everybody is fluent in English and everyone is very helpful.
• Quietness: 7.5 Due to it%27s location and the fact that people love to stay up late it could have been terrible, but the windows when closed blocked the majority.
• Room: 7.5 Great view of the Puerto del Sol and all that goes on. Room was typical for Europe being a little on the small side but comfortable. Good shower!
• Value for money: 10 Compared to the other hotels we thought about booking this one was the obvious choice.
