• Room: 5 Size and shape excellent, amenities OK, view - small backyard not very interesting to look at!

• Cleanliness: 10 Absolutely spick and span
• Location: 10 Ten minutes walk to the Parque de Buen Retiro - lovely, then a further 10-15 minute walk to the Prado Museum
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Fine - the hotel starts from Floor 5 up and the lifts are tiny (4 people max) so sometimes a bit awkward
• Staff: 7.5 Friendly although not overly enthusiastic
• Quietness: 10 We had an inner room - and heard no noise whatsoever, even though the hotel itself is on a main street
• Room: 7.5 Nothing special, but very clean and the air-conditioning worked!
• Value for money: 7.5 Definitely, wonderful location
