From the entry of the Hotel Joyce, a reception desk designed by Philippe Maidenberg and composed of a setting of mini-Eiffel Towers, lacquered of white and red, gives the tone.
A stretched sofa created by the architect and inspired of a riding saddle adds to the playful atmosphere, as well as the three clocks designed by George Nelson in the 1950s (Vitra edition), and the African armchair Cheick Diallo specially realised for the hotel. The optic fibre which illuminates the floor guides the eye until the small design lounge near to a stoned wall and to the bar.
The breakfast is served between 7am and 11am and is composed of biological products. Everything is beautiful and nothing is serious... apart from care brought to the welcome and to the guests.
