They ignored it due to a supposed Credit Card problem, although I had a confirmation of the reservation (I guess they didn%27t want American Express, but the site allowed it). Fortunately they could find me a room for the first night in the hotel next door, otherwise I would be without room at 22h30 after a long day of travelling.

• Cleanliness: 10 Very clean! Everything was in good working order. Plenty of hot water.
• Location: 7.5 Immediate area was not so interesting but had lots of shops and places to eat. Metro, tram, and buses were right outside the hotel, so travel to famous Parisian sites was easy.

• Staff: 10 Excellent staff, one and all.
• Quietness: 10 Our room was facing the back so there was no outside noise. Except for doors closing and the soft sound of footsteps on the stairs, the inside was very quiet. No complaints here!
• Room: 7.5 Small but, quite adequate. View was of a brick wall across the way. But since we were away virtually all day, the view didn%27t matter too much.
• Value for money: 10 Great value!
