• Positive: I loved the building and the architecture of it. It was also a great neighbourhood that was close to the metro.
• Negative: Unfortunately we slept with the windows open every night and because of the pubs downstairs it ended up being very noisy. Earplugs would have helped.

• Negative: With the window open (a necessity as it was so warm) the street noise from the local bar and then street cleaners was substantial.

• Staff: 10 The staff are the greatest asset. The receptionist was both helpful and very friendly. We felt welcomed and valued the moment we arrived.
• Quietness: Not rated Noisey people upstairs and from the street are the only downsides.
• Room: 5 I wasn't expecting much and so wasn't dissapointed by the size. It was very adequate for our needs.

• Positive: The ambiance, the furnishings and the location. The bed was comfortable and I really appreciated the antique furniture that had a deep polish from years of attention. Felt cozy. Location was great only a few blocks from Notre Dame. Lots of junk shops for souvenirs and a number of good restaurants. I don't think the 'categories' listed in this review are appropriate for this unique property, I would put it between Average and Superior by this survey's options, but it was a wholly unique hotel with a different kind of standard and charm than a chain facility.
