• Location: 10 Within 5 mins walk to cathedral, plenty of eating places from stepping out the door of the hotel

• Staff: 10 The bar staff were exceptionally friendly and the younger men at reception that helped with our bags. Reception must have noticed from my passport that it was my birthday and they kindly left a bottle of sparkling wine in ice with two glasses on the day of my birthday, a very nice touch
• Quietness: Not rated Noise from outside when we trying to sleep was terrible, we were wakened frequently by cars, lorry bins and people singing all night long. Inside the we never heard any noise it was very quiet
• Room: 5 Good size room, we didn't have a view. Fridge but no mini bar, complimentary water every day. Bathroom was dated and a bit shabby for 4 star hotel, our shower poured water all over the floor every time we used it, we had to use towels to stop it. Fresh towels and good range of toiletries issued every day
• Value for money: 5 Yes but wish I had upgraded to superior room. I asked for a quiet room at the time of booking, I should have been advised then that standard rooms overlooked busy street
