• Location: 10 Excellent location. Very close to Catalunya Square

• Staff: 7.5 There were a few problems with the language barrier and paying the bill was very difficult
• Quietness: 7.5 We probably made the most noise in the place as it was a group of girls on a hen%27s night but we didn%27t hear any other noise
• Room: 10 Really large rooms which were perfect for groups
• Value for money: 7.5 We got charged more than we were quoted but it was still value from money

• Positive: This hostal has an historical charm to it: High ceilings, classic decor. I needed a room that could accommodate to children and was pleased with the chairs that converted to a pull-out bed for each child. The room was large enough for the four of us. Location was perfect - very easy to get to many of the various sites in Barcelona by walking or bus. You do NOT want a car in Barcelona - it%27s just crazy trying to park and costly to park in a garage.
