• Staff: 10 Very courteous, cheerful and helpful. An inconsiderate previous guest had smoked in one of our non-smoking rooms. They changed the room as soon as it was feasible.

• Room: 7.5 The third floor room was very roomy and bright. We really loved that room. The ground floor room with the view to the courtyard was a bit darker and smaller.
• Value for money: 10 This was such a pleasant, clean comfortable hotel and the best value of our trip. We stayed in 6 hotels on the trip ranging from 3 to 5 star rating.

• Positive: Lovely, spacious room, and nice bath facilities! Quiet and excellent location for my interests within the city.
• Negative: It would have been nice if breakfast had been included, and internet access would also have been apprecaited--it was at other, similarly starred hotels I stayed in on my trip.

• Location: 10 Located in the old Jewish quarter, this is a wonderful and very convenient location for those interested in the synagogues, some of the museums, Santo Tome with the famous El Greco, etc.
• Common facilities and services: 5 Internet access would have been very nice.
• Staff: 5 I didn%27t find the reception folks to be particularly friendly, but I was mainly used to hostels and more intimate settings. They were certainly helpful.
• Quietness: 7.5 It was a nice oasis. Also, because it is sort of tucked into a corner of the town, it has the feeling of remove without being out of the way. Seems to me I could hear some sound from within the hotel, but it was not a problem.
• Room: 10 The room was lovely and spacious with fine amenities. I don%27t think there was a view, or maybe I didn%27t try hard enough to find out, I can%27t remember (the windows were shuttered/curtained). Anyway, I was there mainly for rest.
• Value for money: 10 I got a deal on the internet which made this an affordable splurge for the end of my trip, and made it good value for the money spent.
