• Location: 10 Next to but not inside the old section of town. Wonderful location!

• Staff: 10 This hotel excels in this category.
• Quietness: 5 You are near a busy section of town, so it's a trade off. It's much quieter than if you were inside the old town, but close by.
• Room: 5 We had an inner room with no view. It was described as having an "inner corridor" but it looked out into an air shaft, not really a place where people hang out. It you get a room with a view, I think that would be preferable.
• Value for money: 5

• Location: 10 Excellent location for the old town, where much of the restaurants and nightlife are.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Parking is off-site, but just a short walk. Staff provided excellent directions to the parking garage. The price of parking was reasonable at 16.5 EUR. We paid 26 per night in Bilbao. We did not purchase the breakfast but it looked ok for the price.
• Staff: 10 Very helpful for any questions we had. Spoke very good English.
• Quietness: 2.5 Rooms are only one level up from the street, but there is very little traffic at night; street noise was not a problem. Most of the noise we experienced came from the apartments above.
• Room: 7.5 The physical aspects of the hotel are basic, not particularly attractive in style, and a bit worn. Functionally good. One will need to carry luggage up one flight of stairs.
• Value for money: 7.5
