  • Location: 5 You need bus/car to get out of the valley
  • Common facilities and services: 7.5 Excellent poolarea. Gym in very poor condition.
  • Staff: 10 Very nice annimationteam, did some excellent shows.
  • Quietness: 5 Noise from the animation team from app. 20.00 to 22.30.
  • Room: 7.5 Toilet and wallpaper needed exchange. The room and the balcony was large and great. Very nice sea-view

  • Negative: My wife and I both got food poisoning from the food, and when we reported it to the staff, we didn't feel like they took us very seriously.

  • Cleanliness: 2.5 We both got food poisoning from the buffet, and the snack bar seemed very unhygienic. We didn't experience this ourselves, but my wife read online of some people getting sick from the pool. Facilities and room generally seemed clean, however.
  • Location: Not rated Taurito is a very poor location. There is nothing of interest within walking distance besides the hotel.
  • Common facilities and services: Not rated Very far below our expectations of what we would receive from an all-inclusive stay. Poor food, only available at certain times. Restrictive bar menu, unless you pay. Very limited options for snacks by pool. No free Internet access (and the paid Internet was terrible).
  • Staff: 2.5 We did not feel like the front desk staff was very friendly or efficient. We sent them an email asking for advice on arriving at the property and never got a response. The front desk staff when we arrived seemed to do the bare minimum to greet us. We spoke with the manager about numerous concerns and did not feel like he took them very seriously. Some of the staff were good. The cleaning crew seemed to do a good job.
  • Quietness: 5 Some noise outside during the nightly entertainment that goes until 11PM. It didn't bother me, but my wife was upset by it.
  • Room: 7.5 Our room was very nice; we liked our view. The only complaint we had was that the air conditioning didn't seem to work the first night, but they fixed that for us.
  • Value for money: 2.5 Far below our expectations. To be fair, the room wasn't terribly expensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. If we were to do it over, we would certainly stay somewhere else.
