• Value for money: 5 While listed as a four star hotel, we couldn't really understand why. Apologies. It felt more like a boutique hotel but I can't say that we felt that our stay was luxurious.

• Negative: The lampshade that hung over the bed and pointed into the room. I hit my head on this 4 times. Unsafe.

• Cleanliness: 10 Room cleaned every day to a good standard.

• Staff: 10 Staff on reception were friendly and helpful.

• Room: 7.5 There was no coffee/tea making facilities. No dvd player. Should be free bottles of water on arrival. Bed was very comfy. Lampshade was unsafe in its position as i hit my head on it four times. I should have learnt but kept doing it when the room was dark. Size of room was good.

• Positive: Very comfortable bed following a week of camping . Reception very helpful
• Negative: We had to leave early after the second night and breakfast hadn’t been set up by 7am which we were told was the start. Missed out on the eggs and fruit and had to grab a very dry and uninspiring croissant. Not worth the money we paid.
