• Negative: Cigarette stench in room and requested a room change. Assured me an air purifier would clear smell, which did not. Initially reluctant to act on request. Smell remained throughout my stay.

• Cleanliness: 5 Cigarette stench in room air, sheets, pillows.
• Location: 5 Close to some, but too far from other sites

• Staff: 7.5 Cleaning supervisor quite disagreeable and reluctant to rectify cigarette smell in room. Refused to change sheets (to lessen the smell in room) when requested, assuring me most defiantly "that room is clean". Front desk lady very helpful, but most of all, the breakfast room lady was absolutely lovely.
• Quietness: 2.5 Floorboards and beds squeak incessantly and can be heard on other floors.
• Room: 5 Toilet was ok and bed comfortable (when one is not moving), but noisy floorboards detracted from the classic austerity of the decor.
• Value for money: 2.5 Slightly overpriced per night, I believe.
