In the Hotel Monterrey you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. It offers both a restaurant and buffet service as well as national and continental cooking. The Hotel Monterrey is just 75 metres from the main beach of Platja d'Aro in a quiet residential area. All of its rooms have outward-facing balconies and amongst other public services access to the internet is available. Platja d'Aro, situated in the heart of the Costa Brava, offers a wide variety of entertainment and leisure options, as well as many sports such as golf, diving, and sailing. You can spend a few days relaxing on its beaches: the Platja Gran is particularly attractive with its thick sand and deep waters. Or why not admire de marvellous local views as you follow the coastal paths and stop off to enjoy a swim in any of the numerous charming and peaceful little bays.

  • Cleanliness: 10 Al contrario que en otras opiniones que decían que el servicio empezaba muy pronto,tengo que decir que eso dependería de la situación de la habitación y que además creemos que la slimpiadores iban mirando quien iba dejando su llave en recepción para ir a limpiar,porque hubo un par de dias que salimos por la noche y hasta bien entrada la mañana no fueron,asi que se adaptan bastante bien al cliente,en ese sentido.
  • Location: 10 Muy cerca de la playa,emnos de los 75 metros de la descricpción.Cerca de los comercios y bares nocturnos.Para ir a discotecas buenas(Loft,...)y centros comerciales había que andar un poquito más,pero tampoco tanto.
  • Common facilities and services: 5 De apariencia algo más viejo quie otros hoteles de la zona,pero anosotros nos gustó bastante.Lo único aobjetar que la piscina era pequeña y las cisternas eran ruidosas.
  • Staff: 10 El trato excelente,mejor imposible.
  • Quietness: 10 Es una zona muy tranquila,porque aunque la zona de fiesta está cerca,hay la suficiente distancia como para no oir ningún tipo de ruido por la noche.
  • Room: 7.5 La habitación era normal,con vistas no muy buenas ya que no es primera linea de playa,pero está bien.Lo único lo comentado antes del ruido de la cisterna.
  • Value for money: 10 Nos pareció muy barato,nosotros fuimos con una oferta del Banco Santander que nos incluia MP,durante 4 noches,5 días y fue muy barato para la zona que es(plena Costa Brava).El servicio de buffet era muy bueno,auque mucho mejor la cena que el desayuno.

  • Negative: lo que menos es que habiendo piscina a podian tener un poco limpia. y las habitación que la terraza da al parking no es nada agradable.hay que pagar el parking aparte y hasta una fianza por el mando de la tele!!!
