• Positive: Most of staff spoke English well and were very helpful - especially when partners handbag was stolen in Chinese Restruant on the square- directions to Police HQ and to the British Embassy. Direct phone line to UK room. Hotel is a very short walk from Metro (Tirso de Molina) which is the cheapest
• Negative: It was only somewhere to sleep in the City centre (not to eat - there is too much competition for that, even breakfasting in the square rather than the hotel). Slightly annoyed at having to pay 1E everytime we put something in the room safe, showed a certain lack of reinvestment in the Hotel, contributing to its 1970/80%27s feel.
