5-star luxury hotel situated in La Selva del Camp near Tarragona and housed in a modernist building designed by the famous architect Domenech I Montaner and later restored into a splendid luxury hotel. Each one of the rooms and suites is named after an outstanding Catalan modernist architect. As you would expect from a hotel of this standard the cuisine on offer at the La Gigantea restaurant is of top quality. There is also a spa-wellness area, a nice and quiet atmosphere where you can relax and rest before or after a hydrotherapy bath, massage or any of the health and beauty treatments. It is always a pleasure for our guests to stay at this magnificent 26 bedroom hotel. Each one of the rooms and suites has the name of an outstanding Catalonian modernist architect. Inside the rooms, you will find a brief biography as well as various graphic materials. So with every visit, the guest will have the opportunity to learn about a movement that one hundred years later still captivates us.

  • Common facilities and services: 7.5 El jacuzzi exterior del spa no funcionaba muy bien. Hemos ido a hoteles de menor prestigio y lo tenían mejor cuidado que aquí.
  • Staff: 7.5 El personal del restaurante es muy bueno sobretodo un señor más mayor que es muy atento.

  • Room: 7.5 El exterior de la bañera estaba roto. En un hotel que quiere ser de gran categoría no se tiene que permitir. A parte, no había zapatillas en la habitación, cuando nos dijeron que sí había. suerte que traíamos nosotros.
  • Value for money: 7.5 Escogimos la experiencia gastronómica y en general muy bien. La cena fue muy buena. El único pero es que a una cena así, no le puedes poner un vino de 3€ en bodega. El vino estaba muy bueno, pero no era equivalente a la cena. En una experiencia gastronomica puedes encontrar gente que valore el vino y sepa qué está bebiendo y aun siendo un vino que no estaba nada mal, es el que yo escogería para mi casa en el día a día, no para una experiencia gastronómica. Y eso que la bodega La Botera tienen vinos muy bien hechos.
