• Staff: 10 The waitress in the restaurant was very friendly. I had an allergic reaction to an insect bite. She was very concerned and advised me to go to the hospital and gave me a map to find it. The next day it got worse and I needed a lot of ice to cool it. The staff in the restaurant was very friendly and really saved me with a lot of ice cubes. Thanks a lot for this! The waitress at the breakfast was very efficient, re-filled all the time and cleaning up all the time.

• Positive: We stayed in room 201 - it was large, extremely clean and very comfortable. Nice walk in shower. The staff - especially Alicia, were all extremely friendly and accomodating. The pool area is also well kept and relaxing.
• Negative: The food! Unless you eat in the bistro - we did & it was delicious - not included in the price. The food was terrible. Breakfast was reasonably good - it is a small hotel after all. But lunch!!!! We originally booked half board but after being ill after the lunch the first day we changed to B&B. Fried food is not my thing. The bar area looks tired and the bar itself was sticky. A stark contrast to the rest of the hotel. Wifi is only available in the reception area and the reception is not great. All rooms have tv's - however it did strike me as strange that there were more English channels than Spanish!

• Cleanliness: 10 Rooms were cleaned daily, and all but the bar area looked and smelt clean.
• Location: 5 The location of the hotel meant that we found it lovely and quiet. However, this comes at a price. We came by car which proved to be a blessing. THe town centre is a brisk 15 mins walk from the hotel and pretty steep - not great for dodgy knees - as I found out!
• Common facilities and services: 5
• Staff: 10 The staff are a credit to the hotel. They appear to work long hours and multitask more than I've ever seen on previous travels. Amiable and willing to help out wherever they can to make your stay enjoyable
• Quietness: 10 Ok. There are a few evenings when there's live music. But overall, due to its location the hotel is extremely peaceful.
• Room: 10 We loved our room. There were 3 of us and we didn't feel cramped. The bed was extremely comfortable - slept like a log. Balcony view was lovely, it was large with sunloungers and table and chairs. Bathroom was clean with lovey walk-in shower. No bath.
• Value for money: 10 Even though the food wasn't up to par, I feel that overall this hotel deserves merit for comfort, cleanliness and it's staff. I came back from this hotel refreshed and extremely relaxed.
