• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Gym and sauna not open. Hot tub not yet up and running. Would be good to have a filter water tap accessible to guests. Breakfast good and plentiful. Swimming pool and outside space beautiful and definitely the highlight.

• Quietness: 7.5 Near a busy road, so at times a bit noisy when in the room
• Room: 7.5 We had a junior suite, although a large room, and good bathroom, expected a little more for the price differential. Also the room was a bit too near the road for complete peace, quite and privacy.
• Value for money: 7.5 As mentioned above, expected a little more lux for the junior suite, but otherwise good.

• Positive: Beautiful location and views & very tranquil. Our room was very clean and well equipped.
• Negative: Undercooked food! We ordered burgers and the meat was extremely undercooked and unpleasant. Service was very slow. The burger bar at the wedding event was also undercooked which put most of the wedding party off from eating it. Breakfast service was understaffed with not enough bacon. People were constantly having to find staff to ask for things. Bar service was also slow and missing a trick to upsell drinks to your guests. Working in hospitality myself it pains me when hotels miss a trick for earning more revenue. A real shame as this hotel is lovely. Just needs these few tweeks sorting out.
