Situated in the heart of Madrid, in a vibrant area, the hotel is just 100 metres from the famous Callao and Puerta del Sol, and close to the Preciados and Gran Vía shopping streets. The rooms are well-equipped and have free wired internet access. Buffet breakfast is included. The restaurant-cafe serves traditional cuisine with daily set menus and à la carte. As the area is well-served by public transport, the closest underground stations are Callao and Gran Vía, it is a good base from which to explore the city sightsee.   • Positive: All was perfect: position (in the very centre of the city but in a quiet and safe street; you can walk to everywhere or take the underground), room (my room was a corner one and had three large windows!!!), bathroom (two wash-basin and a powerful shower!!!), breakfast (very good), price and staff (very very gentle). The hotel is very clean. There is also a good and cheap restaurant (we ate a "parillada": a lot of ham with potatoes and salad + water + a glass of wine and dessert for only 30 euros for two). If you want, beside the hotel restaurant entrance there is a typical bar - restaurant where you can eat and drink paying a little.
  • Negative: Tv without sleep function (I have the same tv in my home but in the hotel "menu functions" were not available!!).
