• Positive: This was my second stay at the hotel and it will probably be my last. The hotel has lost it charm due to two issues: the hotel's rooms, now that it is owned by an international chain, has ruined the ambience. The room I stayed in was orange, orange, orange, with 1970s decor, and that was quite different from the hotel room just two years ago. The grounds have been changed, which I will write about in the dislike section. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean, but such a shame that it has been turned into a Best Western.
• Negative: Instead of the courtyard around the hotel, now the hotel has white tents up to the windows, and there are chairs and tables and a bar area beneath one of the tents. If one is on the first floor and looks out of one's room, guess what: no view now of the courtyard but of a white tent. Where I was staying, on the second floor, I look down on the tents, but still have a view of the city. If I were on the first floor, I would be furious with the hotel for taking away the view. I also didn't like being kept awake by the partying occuring under the tent until one in the morning. I heard the music and the talking until that time.

• Room: 2.5 tacky orange furnishings right out of the 1970s and I have stayed in the room before, so I was surprised to see the awful change

• Negative: Lack of signage that the parking outside the hotel is NOT hotel parking, and information by the hotel reception about parking. Within less than a half hour after arriving, and while still registering and getting to our toom we were given a 6o euro parking ticket. we never did see a parking meter, nor were we made aware of the parking requirements.
