• Positive: I have been staying in "El Convento" several times before and I was always very satisfied with my visit . This time I had no time to take any meals, but I remember that my meals in the past were very good.(Only last year the house was closed because of works inside). The staff in "El convento" was always very helpful and I look forward to come again this autumn for a stay at a weekend in September. So my final rating is between good and excellent. It might be helpful to have all the information to the house in the German language as well, as I am sure that there are many people from Germany staying in the region of the Rioja and would like to stay in a hotel like this.
