• Positive: The sunny room with the double doors that opened into the clean interior of the hotel -- and blooming geraniums!

• Cleanliness: 10 Very nicely kept
• Location: 10 It's a shame the Plaza del Sol was under construction! Walking distance to nearly everywhere and subway entrance right in front of the building.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Two working computers, no charge. Muzak played Christmas songs in June, a bit quirky.
• Staff: 7.5 Friendly when they weren't busy. When busy a little unnecessarily short. Front desk needs to smile more.
• Quietness: 10 I had an interior room and it was wonderfully peaceful.
• Room: 10 No view of the city because I asked for interior room to mitigate noise (option would have been facing Plaza del Sol). Sunny, double doors that opened into courtyard and even geraniums blooming. Bathroom big, room comfortable.
• Value for money: 10

• Quietness: 10 No outside noise but no view either. A bit depressing specially after a 8day trip all over Spain
• Room: 2.5 room we got was good sized with plenty of space for 3 people but the view was of a deep well like space.The location of the room was really bad . The hotel should lower the price of these rooms.You open the window and stare into other peoples windows or a tiny covered courtyard. Hardly any fresh air.AC of the room not effective it got unbearably hot on 15th June 2009 when we stayed there
• Value for money: Not rated I would pay about 80 Euros for the kind of room I got.Location of the hotel was its only USP
