• Positive: The location, a few meter from Puerta del Sol (I had even a balcony wit view on it) Despite this loud area, the window was thick enough to sleep in a calm atmosphere

• Negative: The idea that you have to hand in your key when you go out for the day. The board is visible to others to know if you are in or out of your room and I felt reprimanded that I had not been doing this.

• Positive: The room was very spacious and quiet, even though it was located next to a busy street intersection. Very unusual for Europe! Also, the service was great too.
• Negative: Having to turn my hotel card over to the reception every time I left the building, but I guess that's needed to control security in this busy part of town.
