• Positive: The excellent location! There are so many things I liked about this hotel, but that is definitely what I liked most.
• Negative: Sometimes the hot water was a little scarce in the morning...but never a real problem, just a slight inconvenience.

• Cleanliness: 10 Excellent staff that was always considerate, honest, and friendly.
• Location: 10 It was the perfect location for access to transportation, shopping, dining and entertainment.
• Common facilities and services: 10 This is a basic hotel that goes the extra mile to provide good service and assistance in any matter.
• Staff: 10 The staff was excellent. As a first time visitor to Barcelona I needed direction. The staff was so helpful and offered advice and information about many subjects. Also, I must note...I became ill with a flu during my stay and the gentleman that staffs the hotel in the weekday mornings went above and beyond to assist me in finding pharmacy care and making sure I was comfortable. I am grateful for his kindness and assistance.
• Quietness: 7.5 Can be a bit noisy during the day, but at night after 10PM it is amazingly quiet.
• Room: 10 I had a room on the 5th floor with a terrace and it was perfect. Size of room was average. This is not a hotel for someone looking for unnecessary niceties. This is a clean, standard room with a great location and a helpful, English speaking, staff.
• Value for money: 10 I was very impressed with Hotel Cortes. I would both recommend to others and be eager to stay there again on my next trip to Barcelona.

• Positive: posizione centrale fra ramblas e plaza catalunia. hotel carino e abbastanza pulito a parte un po troppa polvere nel pavimento,camera più grande di quanto mi aspettassi con materasso comodo e cambio asciugamani ogni 2 gg. la mia camera al 4 piano era ben isolata dai rumori esterni, ma come previsto per la tipologia di albergo, si sentiva tutto quel che dicevano i vicini di stanza per la poca insonorizzazione dei muri . Cassetta blintata per i documenti /netbook fissata nell'armadio che costa 2€ al gg. Ci tornero con piacere.
