• Positive: Spacious and well furnished room. Plenty of room for clothes and bathroom items.
• Negative: Insufficient staff in the dining room at breakfast time and in the evening. The staff members did their very best but with a large throughput at breakfast one morning the single member of staff in attendance was completely overwhelmed and was unable to keep up with the demands of clearing tables and replenishing the buffet. Then the coffee machine stopped working and he had to make coffee as well. In the evening one staff member again managing the bar and restaurant, not enough for taking orders, serving meals and drinks and clearing away. The menu on offer in the evening was limited and not what I expect from a 4 star hotel in a tourist area serving internationa customers. I live in Spain and I know most Spaniards do not take a substantial meal in the evening; however most foreigh visitors expect more than was on offer here. The ground floor dining room alone is not big enough for the number of guests.
