• Negative: no daylight in the hotel rooms due to shutters being nailed outside. noisy guests still being noisy after complaints were made. no money off offered after we were given two twin beds instead of a double bed on the first night. restaurant never seemed to be open and there were no restaurants nearby to eat!

• Cleanliness: 7.5 the hotel was pretty clean, bathrooms were spotless, clean towels given every day
• Location: 7.5 good location as it%27s just off the main street. but almeria is so small that pretty much every single hotel is gonna be in good location
• Common facilities and services: Not rated restaurant never seemed to be open, bar was really expensive, no kettle in the room. really the only service they had was a vending machine
• Staff: 5 staff were alright. one was particularly helpful but at night time when there was lots of noise the staff did not seem able to help
• Quietness: Not rated there were large groups staying on the same floor as us and they were shouting and laughing in their rooms and in the corridors all night. i did not think a three-star hotel would tolerate this kind of behaviour and the noise was so bad that i had to make two separate complaints during the night. there was only one night porter on duty and he didn%27t seem to be able to do anything to lessen the noise levels. he also said he couldnt move us to another room so for the whole first night we really didn%27t get any sleep at all. it was a nightmare and i really thought that groups behaving like that in a three-star hotel would and should have been thrown out.
• Room: Not rated rooms were small and dark. there were plastic shutters NAILED to the outside of the windows (saw this in two different rooms on two different floors) so really no sunlight came in. this made it hard to tell when you woke up whether it was morning or not! the shower was good but the bathroom door didn%27t lock - not a problem if you%27re there with your partner but maybe an issue otherwise!
• Value for money: 2.5 we booked a kingsize bed in a double room and when we arrived we were given 2 twin beds in a room. we went downstairs to complain and get moved to a different room but were told that we had booked two beds (our printed reservation clearly said otherwise) and that we would have to wait until the next day to change rooms. we were not offered any money off our booking, nor were we even given an apology. it was a bit of a mess.
