• Positive: All the staff were friendly beyond belief. The front desk staff was particularly terrific - they went beyond making the usual dinner reservations. they offered to do internet searches for us, and they translated words for us. At the end of our stay, the girls surprised us with a lovely box of chocolates in honor of my late father who had stayed at the Britannique off and on for 40 years. The hotel works hard to make one feel like family.

• Positive: If you are looking for a typical French Parisian setting, this is the perfect hotel! The rooms are rustique, service is nice, location is my favourite, but the best thing are the balconies: when you book make sure you pay a little extra to have on of the rooms with a balcony; with sun out it is the most beautiful place in Paris to enjoy breakfast (which you can buy around the corner at the bakery). I really really really urge anyone who is considering this place to just try it out; it won't let you down!
