• Positive: Modern stylish refurbishment and size of rooms. Quiet due to excellent double-glazing. Position of hotel in relation to start of Benidorm 10k race at the Ayuntamiento! Helpful and friendly staff in all areas, including Reception, the Restaurant and Bar/Cafe. Excellent singer and great to watch older Spanish visitors dancing so enthusiastically.
• Negative: I disliked nothing but there could be a few improvements: We had a De Luxe room which was huge - but has no full-length mirror even though there is plenty of wall space for one. A wall handle in the shower would greatly help older guests as we don't have perfect balance and it helps to have something to hold on to! Not easy to resolve, but if on 7th floor, getting a lift at busy mealtimes takes a while. We don't smoke (for 40 years) - but whenever we entered Room 708 there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the room.
