• Negative: Tear an wear in our room; smell of grey water from the shower hole/drain - such a beautiful interiors deserve attentive and timely maintenance, shame on the management!

• Cleanliness: 7.5 The strong and smelly air freshener should not be used for such a small room.
• Location: 10 Wonderful, key benefit of the hotel.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 The lobby bar could have some lounge background music to be more lively; PC in the lobby is a) slow, b) not being cleaned, c) turned to windows (not secure, when using for booking/entering card details etc.). Thank you for the printer provided.
• Staff: 7.5 Some receptionists seemed to be in their own thoughts, with only necessary attention to the guests (us), not overall friendly. In contrast the young man who checked us in new details of our booking and underlined that our request re bed was fulfilled - that was very good.
• Quietness: 5 When the main street becomes busy (7.45 - 8 am) the noise comes through the closed windows. Normally we would be naturally up by than, but the fact is that the windows are not sound proof.
• Room: 7.5 16 m are 16 m, the room is small. But good interior design, good quality textiles make it cosy. The toiletries are not easy to find at first. Would be nice to have slippers. There was no real place for a large than small suitcase. If you provide your guests with the luggage rack next to the painted wall there always be ugly scratches on the paint... we had it in our room as well.
• Value for money: 7.5 We paid 110 for our standard room. Having in mind size of the room, tear and wear of the room, smell from the drain we would not agree to pay more for the same room.

• Location: 10 Excellent - the nearest metro is Jaume and is only 100 metres up the road. Ramblas and Placa Reial are only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It is quicker to walk to Ramblas than get the metro
• Common facilities and services: 5 Poor quality iron! Bring your own if possible. Superb shower unit. Good choice of lighting in the room. Snack machine opposite the lift on ground floor.
• Staff: 7.5 Staff were very friendly and courteous though when I informed them that the water from the sink tap ran straight onto the floor, their solution was to place a bin under the sink!!
• Quietness: 5 You could hear the rumble of the metro running underneath the hotel even on the 3rd floor! Not a major problem though, I think it actually helped me to get to sleep!
• Room: 5 Street view, loved watching the Monday morning rush hour while I relaxed eating a croissant on the balcony
