• Positive: The room - it was clean, had all the essentials & was updated nicely.
• Negative: The locks & stairs. The locks were tricky to open & lock...a hint on having to turn twice to engage would've been nice. The stairs tripped me nearly every time I used them, as their worn dips were unpredictable. A warning to the weary arriving traveler is a good idea.
• I RECOMMEND it for... Young travelers, Couples, Budget travelers, Business travelers
• I recommend it especially AGAINST... Older travelers, Families, Handicapped
• Cleanliness: 10 No dust bunnies. Linens clean & not worn or stained.
• Location: 10 15 min. walk from the train station, 5 min. from a metro stop. Convenience store & bakery down the street or around a corner.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 24 hr. in house tenant available to open doors if those pesky locks won't open. Entry required use of 3 keys.
• Staff: 10 Very businesslike but personable. Check in required room payment. In house staff kind. Mainly spanish speaking!
• Quietness: 7.5 In a busy urban neighborhood of residential & commercial use...so lots of noise outside. However, noise reduced significantly once room door & window were closed. Other guests very quiet.
• Room: 7.5 Nice bathroom - updated, clean & efficient. A little on the small side, but expected. Towels somewhat rough - if you are sensitve, bring your own. Hand soap & toilet paper supplied but no tissues. Shower stall lacked hook or ledge for soap/shampoo. Bed was a full - a little hard but has some top softness. side table convenient & roll on fit underneath. Small closet with 1 shelf. Wood or tile floor. Small new hinged window opening to alley.
• Value for money: 10 Absolutely. The only thing that was a bother was the multiple key entry with 3 locks that open differently. Otherwise, was a comfortable room with a great location and easy check-in/check-out.
