• Cleanliness: 7.5 The floors were a little gritty, but the bath and sheets were clean.
• Location: 10 Great location, but hard to locate.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 The breakfast was pretty limited, and quite expensive by US standards.
• Staff: 10 The desk clerk was very helpful, and spoke English well.
• Quietness: 10 If you kept the windows closed, it was quiet...but the street noise was pretty loud if you opened them.
• Room: 2.5 The first room we were given was on an interior light well...It was so small that we couldn%27t get our suitcase into the door! because the door didn%27t open all the way. It was so claustraphobic that we insisted on another room. The second room was also very small, and we had a similar problem getting the luggage in, but it had a large window onto the street. The room was irregular shaped, and we could barely fit two suitcases and ourselves. I had a tape measure with me, and measured the shower....24" square. It was very tight..definately not a two person bath. My friend in the next room had a larger shower, but the room was smaller. She commented that this is the way we used to travel when we were students...40 years ago.
• Value for money: 5 Maybe Valencia is just more expensive, but our hotels in Barcelona and Madrid were close to the same price and much nicer.
