• Negative: Horribly unhygienic, rooms were not cleaned everyday (or definitely not well), very small rooms, no blankets provided (must be purchased), the list goes on and on

• Cleanliness: Not rated This room was disgusting. And I've stayed in my fair share of hostels. The bathroom stunk of piss for all 3 days I was present, which in turn made the whole room smell. The one time I used the shower (and regretted it horribly) I was disgusted to even touch the shower curtain. When I turned on the water, little black things filled the bottom of the tub (what i assume was mold or something off of the shower curtain or sides of the tub) and even with shower shoes it was too much for me to handle. My roomates, who were respectful but unfortunately boys nonetheless got a bit too rowdy one night and made some type of canned ravioli or fish explode all over the floors and walls. It was not cleaned, and the smell definitely lingered. To paint a picture of just how dirty- one of my makeup brushes fell on the floor near the toilet while packing up, and I immediately threw it out. It was definitely not going anywhere near my face.. even after being washed.
• Location: 7.5 Right in the center of Barcelona great location.
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 There are computers available which are shut off nightly, and a small common area with tables.
• Staff: Not rated Though the staff was extremely courteous to me before my departure, checking out was a serious hassle for me. I had asked if there was a later check out (fully expecting a firm no) and a very nice gentleman gave me an extra half hour. This ended up not being enough time unfortunately, and as I scanned the paper sheet of "rules" I had been provided it stated that after 10am you forfeited your room key deposit, and anytime after 12pm you would be charged another night. Relieved, I went for this option and packed my things until 11am. When i came downstairs there was a woman at reception I hadn't seen before who gave me a very hard time and told me I was inconsiderate and so she was going to charge me an extra night on top of taking my room key deposit... After some back and forth bickering I was thankfully not charged the extra night, and will never give this hostel another cent given my horrific stay.
• Quietness: Not rated Obviously a party hostel in the center of Barcelona.. don't come here if you are a light sleeper
• Room: Not rated Blankets are not provided and must be paid for.
• Value for money: Not rated The price is cheap, but so are all hostels. I have stayed in cheaper with a more pleasant atmosphere and accommodation. You are paying for the location and that is about it. If you are alright with unbearable bathrooms and horrible rooms, this is the place for you!

• Location: 7.5 Good location but as the hostel is on a busy street, it tends to be noisy
• Common facilities and services: 5 Extra charge for blankets and sheets Free breakfast (snack style breakfast)
• Staff: 10 Friendly staff
• Quietness: Not rated Small room so window had to be kept open...when window was open, you could hear every sound on the street. Inside the room there was only one main light so every time someone came back (during the night) you were awakened by a bright fluoresent light.
• Room: 2.5 No view, very small with 8 beds, no light per bed. Bathroom in the room.
• Value for money: 7.5 Considering the low price of the room, I probably did get value for money but without a good nights sleep!

• Negative: Very poor furnished apartment with colorful painted walls and curtains. Quite far what you can see on photos on website. You can see the sky in the hole if you don't want to see cockroach in the shower. Included breakfast and dinner is ridiculous...
