• Positive: I most liked the closeness to everything, the sea, La Rambla and the rest of attractions. In spite of the unpleasant and weird surroundings, I felt safe and unintimidated. I also grateful for the helpfulness of the receptionist, Marseille I think his name was.
• Negative: I most disliked, the continuous loud noise coming from the bar on the corner, the loud people shouting at 3 or 4 in the morning, forget about good sleeping nights unless you are deaf. The flat is on the third floor and the stairs are so steep and narrow, it will be very difficult it you are overweight, suffer from bad leg (like me, I have a knee problem), pregnant or have heavy language. The flat was less than average clean; only one AC was working, no cocking facility except a microwave, TV not working, very noisy neighbours, basic flat.... I will not stay there again even for free..... I found out that the busses, metro and the night busses are very efficient and I will rent somewhere else in Barcelona and commute back and forth to the centre. Sorry to disappoint you
