• Room: 2.5 Fairly small, with 1 very ordinary bed
• Value for money: 5 It appeared to be priced the same as many other hotels at similar quality, but wouldn%27t count as value for money in any city except Paris

• Positive: I asked for a room with a view when I booked and was very happy to be given a room with a balcony that overlooked the hustle and bustle of the street below. There was also a very friendly gentleman at reception who helped with places to see.
• Negative: It was a bit annoying having the toilet on the floor below and sharing a shower, but considering the budget price of the room it didn%27t bother me too considerably.

• Cleanliness: 7.5 The room was very clean, the shared shower was so-so, but for a shared shower it was basically what I would expect.
• Location: 10 I absolutely loved Montmartre and it is within a short walking distance to Anvers station and the Sacre Coeur.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 There is a small area with computers - you had to pay to use the internet but I forget how much now. Breakfast was not included with my reservation - I had it one morning but felt that for the price (about 10 euro I think), I could do better at a cafe somewhere.
• Staff: 7.5 There was very friendly and helpful gentleman at reception in the evenings who I chatted to a bit. The others seemed ok, but I had limited contact with them.
• Quietness: 2.5 Noise doesn%27t bother me personally, but there was considerable noise so not recommended for people who like their peace and quiet. Noise was considerable both from the street below and the next-door rooms.
• Room: 7.5 The room was very basic and small, but as I was only at the hotel in the evening to get sleep, it didn%27t matter. I was fortunate though to have a room overlooking the street which made the room much nicer than it otherwise may have been.
• Value for money: 10 This is a budget hotel, it is badly in need of refurbishment and when I peeked in a double room it looked very cramped for two people. But for my purposes, a single female who basically wanted a cheap private room to sleep in while she spent her days exploring Paris, it was ideal.
