• Positive: It is in a good location and quite cheap, especially as I booked at the last minute.
• Negative: The rooms are quite small and noisy, and there is no way of telling where it is. The taxidriver hadn´t heard of it (it was lucky I had found it on a map and circled it for him!), and the sign outside is down the street from it. When you get inside the building, it is on the first floor - there is no sign to tell you this.

• Location: 10 It is in a good location, close to la Plaza Mayor and between the metro stations Opera and Sol.

• Staff: 10 The staff were very polite and helpful.
• Quietness: 2.5 I read a review that it was noisy, but then I read from the hotel that the rooms were soundproofed. This isn´t true, and you can hear everything if you have someone in the room next to you.
• Room: 5 The single room I was in was very small, but then you can´t expect much for 40 euros in a capital city during peak season. The double rooms had a lot more space from what I could see.
• Value for money: 7.5

• Location: 10 Esta en el mejor sitio. Y muy bien conectado.
• Common facilities and services: 5 Estan bien. Pero tenia suelta el cabecero de la cama, y fue incomodo, cada vez que me movia.
• Staff: 2.5 No me gusto que una hora antes de las doce y en el dia de abandonar el hostal, me aporrearon la puerta, la persona de la limpieza.
• Quietness: 7.5 De los mas tranquilos en los que he estado.Pero como siempre, te molestan los huespedes que se van temprano y pasan delante de tu habitacion haciendo ruido,y despertandote.
• Room: 5 Faltaria algun estante. No tienes donde poner las cosas.Y el armario pegado a la cama, es bastante incomodo. De resto bien. Sin abrir ventanas, pues ves a los huespedes de al lado.Equipada con nevera, genial!!
• Value for money: 5 Un poco caro,si lo relaciono con todo lo dicho anteriormente.

• Location: 10 Close to the centre.
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 The most awful thing in the Hostel Las Fuentes is they%27s cleaning tradition. When you%27re asleep, and even not going to wake up, be sure that the hotel staff is somewhere close to your room, getting ready to open in and alarm you with the most important morning information about cleaning. They may also find interesting finding out if you%27re still here, sleeping or not. And be sure to have 1 euro coin EVERY TIME you want to close the safe in the hotel room.
• Staff: 5 Reception staff was quite friendly and helpful - we really liked them. Concerning cleaners - see my opinion above.
• Quietness: 7.5 I%27m not sure, that it can be quiet in the centre of Madrid :-) If you keep your window closed, you will sleep well till the morning visit.
• Room: 2.5 It%27s small. Very small. If you%27re a big sized person, you%27d better take a look at a bathroom and so.
• Value for money: 7.5 However, the location was quite close to the city%27s places of interest, and the price was reasonable enough.

• Positive: De ligging is voortreffelijk, middenin het centrum van Madrid. Kamers waren brandschoon. iedere dag schone handdoeken. Taxi naar het vliegveld werd keurig voor ons geregeld, al was het midden in de nacht!
• Negative: Neem oordoppen mee, want een kamer in het cenrum van Madrid brengt nu eenmaal nachtelijk lawaai met zich mee!

• Cleanliness: 5 I think they could have cleaned the rooms more than just once a week.
• Location: 10 EXCELLENT! Everything is literally a couple of minutes away. It%27s easy to get to places no matter where you want to get to.
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 Not much available. But there is internet access for laptop users and two desk top computers for those without.
• Staff: 10 Very kind and friendly.

• Room: 5 Very good but I did not have much of a view as my window was facing another room.
