• Positive: The intimacy of the bed and breakfast. Staying in an apartment building in a quiet, residential area made us feel less "touristy."
• Negative: Our room was located was located in the back and was quite dark. There was a frosted window which looked out onto an enclosed courtyard so there was very little natural light in the room. Ask for a room in the front looking out onto the street!

• Positive: the location is perfect - not too busy, but with some great restaurants along the street, and an easy walk from everything, in the middle of the city really. we walked to El Born, Montjuic, Park Guell, and of course plaza cataluyna and las ramblas are very close. The people who run this B&B are personable - helpful for touring ideas etc. - and the breakfast is delicious! We would come back for sure (but as noted below I personally would prefer a room on the back )
• Negative: in may they did not put on the air conditioning. it was too warm to leave the windows closed and with a room on the front (which had a pretty view) at night time the street noise kept me awake! On saturday nights people were talking, laughing, singing, yelling outside the window until 6am - true Spanish soiree which lasts til the morning. My daughter slept through all of it, and for me if I had had individual room control of the AC I'd have been able to close the window and be fine...

• Positive: Die Lage, das Frühstück, das saubere Zimmer, die lockere Atmosphäre, das hilfsbereite Personal
• Negative: Die Putzkraft hat unsere Schuhe in den Kleiderschrank gestellt<man geht nicht an den Schrank der Gäste mit Privatsachen, dort war auch Safe untergebracht und Strassenschuhe haben nichts im Schrank zu tun!)Und es gibt ein Butterproblem beim Frühstück, schwer zu erklären, aber wer von den Deutschen schon hier übernachtet hat ( und es gibt viele davon) wird wissen, was gemeint ist.
