This hotel rests in the famous spa town of Le Mont Dore, in the heart of the spectacular Auvergne Regional Volcanoes Park. Formed by volcanic eruptions and glaciers, the park offers a unique landscape of lakes and lush green slopes, which transform into stunning snow capped peaks in winter. Renowned for its curative hot springs and purity of air, Le Mont Dore and wider Massif de Sancy offer a beautiful landscape in which to enjoy activities year round. These include walking, biking, horse riding, climbing, paragliding, fishing and, of course, skiing and snow boarding. In winter, ski zones range from altitudes of 1,200 to 1,846 metres, with 33 ski slopes and a snow park. Hôtel du Parc, in the traditional 19th century architecture of the region, is found near the Thermal Centre and the casino.
