• Cleanliness: 5 room was clean, but no maid service the second day, which was not ideal as we had made a couple of meals with the kitchenette facilities (the rubbish was overflowing by the time it was changed). We had to ask for toilet paper, towels, soap etc from the front desk as a result, and he did not bother to ask why... I would have expected him to ask why I needed all these things... "did you not receive maid service today?" A little more proactiveness on the service front in general would have been expected, even for a 3 star hotel.
• Location: 10 right downtown, near the shopping
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 just a little breakfast area when you walk into reception, no other common areas.
• Staff: 5 the main person who was on duty for three days we spent here was nice enough when asked for help (we missed breakfast the first day and he put a tray of things together for us) but I really felt like he took a very reactive approach to customer service. I have been working for a 5 star hotel hotel in London for the past 10 years though, so maybe I have learned to expect too much when I travel.
• Quietness: 2.5 First two nights were quiet, then a school group of boys moved into our floor the 3rd night and it was very noisy.
• Room: 2.5 very basic, furniture old and in need of updating but bed was comfortable (pillows were terrible).
• Value for money: Not rated Paid 100 euros per night for a triple room with breakfast, worth more like 75 euros a night.
