Those party goers who have already enjoyed wild carnivals in Cádiz and Tenerife might be wondering what’s next. The answer is Nice. Everybody knows that the best carnival in the world is held on Rio de Janeiro (Brasil), but just after this one comes Tenerife, in Canary Islands, the paradise islands of Spain.

This year the Carnival of Tenerife will start on the 26th of January with plenty of events like the Presentación de Candidatas a Reina Teatro del Círculo de Amistad XII de Enero (This is to become the Carnival’s Queen), and it will finish on the 21st of February with the celebration of the Gran Concurso de Automóviles Antiguos, which is a competition of antique cars.
