Nancy, the epicenter of Art Nouveau

Nancy, in the northeast of France in the region of Lorraine, is one in a million. With a population that barely exceeds ten thousand inhabitants, the city is one of the most important artistic heritage sites in all of France. Not content with amassing architectural jewels from the 18th century, Nancy is also the capital of Art Nouveau, the artistic movement that dominated the first decade of the 20th century and redefined the concept of decorative art for posterity.

The exhibition covers various centuries and pictorial styles in an exhaustive and amazing show, at times sensual, at times disturbing, that goes from the birth and resplendence of sexuality until its decadence and end.
