Almeria, in Southeastern Spain, is a classic location in the big screen. Westerns, adventure films, peplums, Conan the Barbarian, Indiana Jones… the list is neverending. Almería was visited by the greatest filmmakers. Here, ladies’ men such as Sean Connery or Peter O’Toole drew sighs around, some of the most beautiful actresses of the XX century such as Brigitte Bardot or Claudia Cardinale swayed their hips and legends like Clint Eastwood took his first steps. The adrenaline inducing spectacle known as paintball is a free time activity that is all the rage in Spain. Anyone can participate: all you need is adequate protection, a paintball marker, the right installations and a group of friends. Paintball combines entertainment and strategy, team play and individual ability. We will now take a look at some of the best paintball grounds on the peninsula. Here we have an attractive option for rural tourism: a visit to port enclaves and their respective lighthouses. From roughly constructed primitive towers, which have lasted through the various centuries, to the modern structures decorated in detail, lighthouses lavishly show their singular beauty along the Iberian coast. We will see some of the most emblematic lighthouses with the greatest charm for travelers.
