Housed within a perfectly restored late 19th Century building, the Hotel H10 Universitat is located in the heart of Barcelona, just 100 m. from the Plaza Catalunya, and very close to the Gothic Quarter. With modern interior design and comfortable rooms, we take care of the details so that your stay with us is as pleasurable as possible.

Services:

To begin your stay on the right foot, we will welcome you with a glass of cava on your arrival. We also serve a free buffet in our lobby every day between 15:00 and 22:00 with cold water and a variety of snacks (nuts, sandwiches, etc), national and international newspapers and a business corner with free Internet access and a laser printer which is open 24 hours.

Function rooms:

The H10 Universitat has two function rooms which may be joined to make one with a capacity for 90 people with everything necessary for holding business meetings and any type of event.

 

Where are we?

Located in the centre of Barcelona, a few metres from Plaza Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia and Las Ramblas, the Hotel is perfectly communicated with the main modes of transport: many underground and bus routes a few steps away, the Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia train station, and the Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat a 2 minutes walk away.

Our location is ideal if you…

• Wish to visit the main attractions of the city on foot: Plaza Catalunya, Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, the Gaudi buildings, Picasso Museum, etc.
• Wish to be close to good restaurants, cinemas, theatres.
• You wish to be close to public transport to travel to other parts of the city.

From the south (airport):

• Follow the signs to the city centre
• The airport motorway becomes the Gran Vía once in the city. Just go straight on.

From the north:

• Follow signs to the city centre – Gran Vía.
• Take the Gran Vía and go straight on until the Rambla Catalunya.
• Turn left into the Rambla Catalunya.
• Take the first street on the right: this is the Ronda Universitat, our street. You will find us a few metres down on the right hand side.

By taxi: Can be taken at any time of day, the journey takes around 20-25 minutes (depending on the traffic) and it costs approximately 25-30 euros.

By Aerobús: Daily from 06.00 and leaves the airport every 15 minutes. The price of the ticket is €3.50 per person. It is comfortable and fast, the journey takes 30 minutes. The Aerobús stops in Plaça Catalunya or Plaça Universitat. The hotel is a five minute walk from either of these two plazas.

By train: Daily, from 5:30 until 23.30, it leaves the airport every 25 minutes. The price is around €3 per person and the journey takes 25 minutes. The train stops Passeig de Gracia. The hotel is a five minute walk away.

Transfer: we have a private transfer service from the airport to the hotel. The maximum capacity per car is 7 people. The journey from the airport is €85 + VAT (including 45 minutes waiting time) per car and from the hotel to the airport it costs €65 + VAT. If you wish to use this service please contact us.

Metro stations:

• Cataluña: Line 1 and 3, 100 m. on foot from hotel.
• Universitat: Line 1 and 2, 100 m. on foot from hotel.

Rooms

Modern rooms, perfectly equipped and homely. The headboard of the bed is different in each room which is a large painted photo representing part of the city of Barcelona.

The floors are parquet and the furniture in dark wood.

The bathrooms are marble and our showers provide the ideal water pressure.

If you like space and natural daylight, choose our superior rooms, on the top floor: 30 squared metres, furnished terrace and extra large beds (200 cm. wide).

Our Business Corner is integrated into theb and is free 24 hours a day. You will also find our cafeteria-bar lounge, where you can enjoy our exquisite cocktails.

In our Restaurante Universitat, we offer the finest Mediterranean cuisine and each month we hold gourmet days dedicated to typical products of Catalunya (mushrooms, rice, cod, etc.)

The decoration is modern yet warm. Dark wood, warm lights and soft music envelop the whole environment.
