The water flowing from Las Burgas, a fountain in the capital's historic quarter, is known to have therapeutic qualities and reaches temperatures of more than 158ºF (70ºC). This has spurred the opening of various spas in the area. This province, which is very well connected by roads to the rest of the Iberian peninsula, is also known for its fine wines, interesting Marti Gras celebration and its excellent food.
