The province capital is a historic city rich in art. The Casa de los Botines and the Palacio Episcopal in Astorga, built by Gaudí, are also well worth visiting.
A stroll through the streets near the Plaza Mayor, a neighborhood know as "El Húmedo", is highly recommended. There, you'll find bars and restaurants scattered throughout the area where you can try some of the region's best dishes.
