To the south of the island you will find a bustling spa, perfect for taking in the sun and all its warmth. Los Gigantes, to the west of the island, is a small resort area on the edge of a black sand beach called the Playa de la Arena. Tenerife, an island of eternal spring, is the largest of the Canary
archipelago. It is a green island dominated by the Teide mountain peak
(alt. 12,270 ft., 3,718 m). In just a few miles, this island’s landscape changes
drastically from soaring cliffs overlooking beaches to winding roads leading up to
volcano peaks, to harbors giving way to seawater pools.
