The Costa Verde (literally, 'the Green Coast') owes its name to the green prairies, pinewoods and eucalyptus trees that cover this area between the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains further inland.

As one of the best protected coasts in all Spain, it is a wonderful experience to explore the small beaches, cliffs and deep estuaries that make up the incredibly beautiful landscapes along the Costa Verde.
